Oscar See Through Red Eye

Here's a picture I've been working on for about a week. It's based off a sketch I did when I couldn't think of anything to draw. I trimmed off the draconic body and gave it a much more fitting dog one. Like usual, I leave most of the interpretation of the picture to the viewer. However, I do have a small story for this one. He's a guardian of an ancient fire scroll. He sits at the door to another dimension, long outliving his creators or purpose. Here he observes a lesser creature passing by...too closely for his own comfort.
