Thank you very much. As far as a back-story for this guy goes, there isn't one. And if there was one it probably wouldn't answer your question, haha. I suppose I would go with...perhaps a sort of phantom sea monster?
Dude, this is unbelievable!! It reminds me a lot of Greg Simkins (I noticed you had him listed as a favorite, he's definitely one of my favorites as well). And very cool to see you use just a regular pen - I do the same thing for most of my drawings, I love the way they can shade. You've got a super impressive gallery, awesome work
Hell yeah. Have you had a chance to look at his new book yet, Drawn From the Well? It's so full of awesome it's hard to not be inspired, know what I mean? I draw a lot of my influence from him. Thanks for the words, man. You've got a sick gallery yourself.
I have indeed! I was pissed, I missed out on getting one of the autographed copies. And I was also out in LA two weeks ago so I missed his opening out there by one week. He had a show opening up at Gallery 1988 on the 5th, I left like three days before it. I really wanted to see the paintings in person, they're just so crazy and so much detail. But Drawn From The Well is unbelievable. He's certainly a good influence to have - and you do it great justice
